St Jude Recovery helped save my life. I had not had success at several other facilities. Clean date 8/14/12. That now puts me at 5 years, 4 months, 5 days of joyous recovery. Yes it's a hard place, no frills, strict. It challenges the clients. It may be hard, but so is early recovery. The most influential sponsor I've had is an alumni. I know many who completed the minimum 6 months who are now in long term recovery. My experience is that St Jude works for those who truly want it, and every staff member I interacted with wanted to see all clients succeed. Also, I believe that everything that goes on there, as frustrating as it might seem at the time, is all part of a larger plan to help those who want recovery.

St.Judes helped me get my life back. The staff really care and want you to be successful. They are hard and STURN . The 10 to 12 week in house groups help you look deep inside your self to get to your problems. I loved St.Judes and would recommend it to anyone who wants to get their life back. Recovery is not for the ones who needs it, but for the ones who WANT it.
