Skyland is amazing. The results I have been able to achieve with the help of the talented counselors, and wonderful doctors has exceeded all expectations. I started barely functional and am now recovered, and truly a stronger version of myself. Highly recommended.

This was a wonderful life changing place. Staff were amazing. I didn't give it 5 stars because I was very upset that I was not taken seriously over an issue with another client. I was apologized to later but what happened was so upsetting the apology only went so far. That being said I would go back if I needed to. The group leaders were caring and helpful. The campus is one of the most beautiful places I have been which was very calming to my soul.

Skyland Trail saved my son's life!!! He had been seeing a psychiatrist for years and was rapidly going downhill. He was so heavily medicated, he couldn't work, participate in family activities, or engage in meaningful conversation. He never left his room. Today, he has a full-time job, lives in his own apartment, and has friends. My son was previously misdiagnosed and on the wrong medication. Now, he can fully function in life!!! Thank you Skyland Trail!!!!!

Skyland Trail is a remarkable place. Great people, great facilities, great process and great atmosphere in general. I wish my wife could have stayed longer but she has deeper addiction demons that need to be addressed but they really have a great program there, and for different age groups, they are continually growing (Adding a facility for 13-18yrs olds in 2019). They have lots of alumni groups and try to facilitate a happy atmosphere with creative and inspirational ideas. Their horticultural program recently made it onto CNN. This place is really a 5-star mental health facility. Highly recommended!

Skyland Trail was a great place for me when my family and I decided to get me help for my mental illness. It’s a beautiful welcoming campus and small enough for everyone to get to know one another. This is probably the BEST care I’ve ever received. I worked each week with a therapist, had a core group each day for psych education, and had various different classes throughout the day that either taught you how to deal with your emotions or simply how to meditate, paint, sing etc. it was a great place for someone like me who was struggling deeply with depression. The staff is attentive and the weekly doctor one on one time you have is amazing. You personally have a 30 minute time set out for just you to meet with your doctor and make sure you’re on the best medicine. I loved my doctor! I think the only con to Skyland is that I don’t believe they take insurance anymore so when I needed to go back earlier this year after slipping into depression I wasn’t able to. I hope that soon they take insurance again so other people can get the care they give :)

This one of the only program that know of that uses a wide range of modalities to try to treat each individual as a person and not a diagnosis. They are also one of the leading DBT programs in America. The staff were kind and caring, the environment was friendly and supportive. The only thing that I can talk negatively about is there food and what I have to say about that is they and my opinion are a little too overzealous on dietary people who are going through so much already don't need somebody telling them what they can and cannot eat unless that is something they're asking for

Skyland is the place to go for mental health treatment. I suffered from major depression and anxiety. I had lost myself and Skyland helped me find myself again. I leared great coping skills and had many chances to have one on one therapy.

I had a wonderful experience during my time at Skyland Trail. The community was loving, accepting, and willing to work on their recovery together together. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I totally recommend Skyland Trail to anybody who is willing to make a change in their recovery, because you know you can not put a dollar amount on your recovery.... After all it's your life we are talking about.

Skyland Trail is the place that helped me choose recovery, it was a hard choice to make but I truly believe the fact that Skyland had so many opportunities (individual/group therapy, art therapy, horticulture therapy, healthy challenge...) is really what solidified my choice to pursue recovery. Also, the staff for the most part are such lovely people and are always there to provide support in a safe environment. I have been to many other treatment facilities but Skyland really is the one place that helped save my life. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to get treatment there.
